Albatros (Scandinavia) ApS was established on April 1st, 1993, on basis of business activities started up in 1988.

The initial business activities focused on import of baked food products (cakes, biscuits, bread, snackproducts, etc.), which were sold to major retailchains in the Danish market.

Over the years the business activities has escalated to include also products such as beverages, confectionery, speciality- and gourmet products as well as general grocery products.

Albatros proudly represent an extensive range of fine products and brands from manufacturers throughout the World, many of whom Albatros has represented from the start of the company.

Albatros offers it’s partners a variety of services including logistic handling, customs clearence, warehousing, packing and labelling, distribution, key account work, in-store merchandizing and sales support, tastings, market- and competitive details, etc.

Albatros (Scandinavia) ApS resides with offices in Aarhus – the second largest city of Denmark – and warehouse facilities in Hoerning, 10 km. south of Aarhus.

Albatros work with key retail chains and foodservice customers in Scandinavia, Germany, UK and the former East European markets, many of whom are supplied via the Danish warehouse on a 24- hour guaranteed delivery service.

Albatros (Scandinavia) ApS has presently 7 internal employees in the office occupied in sales and administration as well as an external salesforce of 8 salesrepresentatives servicing selected retailoutlets in the Danish market.
